I got pregnant doing IVF, and often when you go through IVF you have extra anxiety that things are going to go wrong, so I really wanted to pick a doula who could hold all of my anxiety and trauma. Genevieve asked a lot of really important questions. I had a complicated birth, I pushed for a few hours and then had a c-section, and she reminded me to ask the right questions, and to take my time.
